Unplanned paralysis.tx.us.darkmyst.org downtime and resultant network chaos on 2026-10-16
The IRC server paralysis.tx.us.darkmyst.org underwent emergency maintenance by the host to fix a security issue on the underlying server infrastructure on Friday, the 16th of October, causing problems on Darkmyst in the stretch of time between 10:46 UTC to around 12:35 UTC.
It took a bit longer than usual to patch it up because key administrators (including myself) weren't around. Sorry about the inconvenience!
