paralysis misconfiguration and crash
Appromixately around 14:20 UTC today, Dread managed to accidentally nuke vis server (paralysis). The underlying cause was a recent change to the server-side configuration that ended up being incompatible with some other processes on the same server, which proceeded to pile up until everything blew up spectacularly. Apologies for the preventable outage! The offending processes have been fixed to deal with the configuration changes; this particular catastrophe will not happen again. Sod's Law promises it'll be entertainingly different next time.
