How do I use the NPC commands?
The DarkMyst network features an innovative non-player character (NPC) system which allows commands to be sent to channels by NPCs which show up in channel as underlined nicknames. These commands are /npc for messages, /npca for actions and /scene to set a scene in a channel. To enable this feature in your channel you need to set the +N mode.
USAGE:
/npc #channel nickname :Message goes here
/npca #channel nickname :Action goes here
/scene #channel :Scene goes here
Note that the colon before the message is important; the commands will not work as expected if you omit it.
EXAMPLES:
/npc #DarkMyst JohnSmith :Hello everyone!
<JohnSmith> Hello everyone!
/npca #DarkMyst JohnSmith :rolls the dice
* JohnSmith rolls the dice
/scene #DarkMyst :The woods were quiet, except for a quiet call in the distance
<=Scene=> The woods were quiet, except for a quiet call in the distance
